LAWRENCE RESIDENCE Considered a stylistic house, the Lawrence’s aspired for an Arts & Crafts home. Highlighting the firm’s ability to work within varying styles from the modern mode, the residence features details consistent with the era, which included opening the plan throughout the living spaces. However, PNA still approached the house design following the same rigid approach for which the firm is known. The house is situated amidst a deciduous canopy on a sloping site, allowing for shading opportunities in summer and the appearance of a single-story structure upon entry.
