ODNR DISTRICT 4 OFFICE
Housing the Division of Forestry and the Division of Wildlife, the ODNR District 4 Office serves as an administrative hub for 19 counties in southeast Ohio. Replete with a stocked pond, the project includes laboratories, private offices and meeting rooms as well as vehicle bays to shelter the department’s fleet. A separate public entrance for visitors provides a vital assess point especially at peak times of year. District Manager at the time Jim Marshall (now Assistant Chief of the Division of Wildlife for the whole state) said "We wanted a building with a nice look and feel... something that reflected our association with natural resources.” Marshall adds, "We love it. We're proud to have the public come in now. The compliments we get are gratifying. We especially like the reception area. It creates a professional atmosphere and effectively manages the flow of people through the building."
